Job descriptionPerform other related duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or lead technician. Job Description : SUMMARY
The Maintenance Helper assists the maintenance lead in performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of facilities machinery and equipment. This role involves routine maintenance repairs and general support activities under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid maintenance lead in performing repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and building systems.
- Handle basic maintenance tasks such as changing filters lubricating machinery and replacing light bulbs.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or maintenance needs.
- Report any findings to the maintenance supervisor or technician for further action.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up work areas before and after maintenance activities.
- Transport tools materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Keep maintenance areas organized and ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
