Being a self-motivated and proactive problem solver is essential, as you'll face unique challenges daily. Strong organizational skills are crucial for meeting deadlines while collaborating seamlessly with students, faculty, and the community. You must adapt to changing situations with a flexible mindset and communicate effectively, whether through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, or emails with co-workers. Attention to detail will ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations is necessary. Proficiency in Google Suite, and online database software for timekeeping, and CMM for tracking ticket orders is highly desired. A high school diploma or GED is required, alongside at least a year of experience in maintenance or custodial work.
