HIRING IMMEDIATELY : MAINTENANCE MANAGER IN BLOOMFIELD, CT

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Manager to join our client in Bloomfield, CT. This individual will be responsible for supervising a staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers in maintenance tasks to maintain equipment and materials, perform complex repair and maintenance tasks, plan and schedule routine care, and establish work priorities to ensure that facilities are organized, clean, free of debris, and in good working condition. The ideal candidate will possess 18 months of education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair, or a closely related area, with 2 years experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities. Pay, Schedule, and Location

Starting at $65,000 to $75,000 / yearly
Excellent benefits package : Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule, 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
Located in Bloomfield, CT

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers in maintenance tasks

Maintain equipment and materials; perform complex repair and maintenance tasks

Plan and schedule routine maintenance. Establish work priorities

Ensure that facilities are organized, clean, free of debris, and in good working condition

Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used

Transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary

Make periodic inspections of assigned facilities to determine condition; diagnose problems and initiate necessary actions

Inspect work for completeness

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

18 months of education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair, or a closely related area

2 years experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities

Strong English skills, reading, written and verbal

Ability to make independent decisions as needed

Solve problems with little direction

Must be able to draw conclusions from facts and evidence
