Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Facilities & Machine Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. The role ensures that all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure operate reliably and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting uninterrupted production. This position involves managing maintenance teams, preventive programs, vendor relationships, and budgets while driving continuous improvement in facility operations.
Hours
Monday - Friday
5 : 50AM - 2 : 30PM
Pay
$100,000 - $130,000 annually
Job Duties
- Oversee maintenance and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and other infrastructure components.
- Manage all production and process equipment, including CNC machinery, welding systems, material handling equipment, and automated machines.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce breakdowns, and extend asset life.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues, coordinating internal technicians and external service providers for timely solutions.
- Use CMMS or similar systems to track work orders, monitor asset history, and report on key performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety standards, including lockout / tagout, hazardous material handling, and emergency procedures.
- Lead safety initiatives, conduct facility inspections, manage incident reporting, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for the facility, including procurement of equipment, parts, and vendor services.
- Source and manage external vendors for specialized maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, or technical services; negotiate contracts and review bids.
- Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and installation projects from planning to completion.
- Support energy management, sustainability initiatives, and efficiency improvements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Forecast infrastructure and equipment needs to align with business growth and production goals.
