A leading organization in the Charlotte area is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a 1-year temporary role. This position supports day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and plant efficiency. The ideal candidate will be skilled in mechanical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance practices.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM, with occasional Sundays and weekday overtime

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain, install, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools
• Support preventive and reactive maintenance activities across the plant
• Repair and rebuild pumps, conveyors, auger systems, packaging machinery, and cable systems
• Follow safety standards and protocols in all tasks
• Work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Recommend equipment modifications and improvements
• Maintain clear documentation of work performed and equipment updates
