We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the facility remains in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and daily work assignments

• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment

• Ensure compliance with life safety, fire safety, OSHA, and state/federal regulations

• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and urgent repairs

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order documentation

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and in excellent working condition at all times

Qualifications

• Must have experience in long-term care

• Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

• Knowledge of life safety codes and regulatory requirements

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to be on-call or respond to emergencies as needed
