Position : Maintenance Worker
Status : Full Time / Non-Exempt (40hrs / wk)
Monday through Friday and Saturday
Job Location : North Hills / San Fernando Valley
- able to travel between all MCCN Clinic sites, as deemed necessary
We are looking for a Maintenance Worker to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
Maintenance :Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.Performs touch up and finish painting.Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbsPerform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issuesInstall appliances and equipmentCollaborate with workers and other professionals during renovationsReport to a facilities or maintenance manager for issuesSets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function roomsPicks up and delivers supplies and materials to department and / or various MCCN Clinic locations.Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.Other duties assigned as necessary.Janitorial :
General janitorial a must, experienced in cleaning common areasKeeps premises of the clinic buildings clean orderly, will clean hallways, lobbies, lunch rooms, offices, lab / medical area, patient / exam area, restrooms and other work areasFloor care : cleans, sweeps, mops all floorsSurface care : dusting, sanitizing, glass / mirror / window cleaningWaste Removal : empty trash throughout the building : bathroom, exam rooms, offices, patient waiting area, etcHallways and Entryway : Sweep and / or mop; wipe off tables; dust horizontal surfaces; wash windowsBathrooms : Sweep and mop; clean tile walls and floors; clean toilets, toilet seats and urinals; empty trash bin and replace liner; wash shower stall doors; clean mirrors; clean windows and sills; stock toilet stalls toilet paper dispensers.General : Empty trash throughout the building. Sweep and clean paper and debris from exterior areas around perimeter of community.Maintain inventory of cleaning suppliesGardening (front and back of the clinics), trimming of trees and cleaningOther duties assigned as deemed necessarySkills
2 years working experience as MaintenanceOwn basic maintenance / janitorial tools, a plushand tools, pliers, drills, hammer, wrenches, etcCurrent California Driver License with Good Driving RecordOwn Truck, preferredAbility to handle heavy equipment and machineryKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesFamiliarity with Material Safety Data SheetsIntegrity and ability to work independentlyEligible for benefits : Vacation, Sick, Holiday pay, and all other benefits mandated by law.
