Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. This position is a contract to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to contribute to critical financial operations, including maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and supporting audits. If you are a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for process improvement, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure timely completion of monthly reconciliations during the close process.
- Prepare funding requests and manage reporting for multiple government and private grants.
- Verify and direct ledger postings from various subsystems and external processing systems.
- Assess and refine cost allocation methodologies to ensure accuracy and appropriateness across programs.
- Lead or actively participate in cross-departmental projects, such as implementing new software systems.
- Identify opportunities for enhancements in financial processes and systems, implementing changes as needed.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, mentoring team members to support growth and development.
- Assist with audits and prepare documentation for organizational tax filings.
- Undertake additional accounting and financial responsibilities as assigned.
