Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization in downtown Boston is seeking a Development Associate for a 3+ month hybrid contract (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). The position pays $23 / hour, with full-time hours from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. The organization focuses on the enhancement, preservation, and programming of a historic public space and is preparing for a major capital campaign.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain the DonorPerfect database, ensuring data quality and consistent entry
• Conduct daily gift processing, tracking, and reconciliation with accounting and development teams
• Coordinate donor research, gift acknowledgments, pledge tracking, and regular reporting
• Support cultivation and stewardship efforts including mailings, events, and email appeals
• Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising events, including the annual Moondance Gala
• Collaborate with senior leadership and campaign committees for ongoing development initiatives
