Managing Director Of Retail

Viridian Staffing's client is looking for a Managing Director of Retail in the Puget Sound / Seattle, Washington, area.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original, professional staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

As the Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee all retail store daily operations for Cannabis Retail Stores in the Puget Sound area. Using your ability to drive a culture of collaboration and engagement connected to our client's vision, you will provide direct oversight and support to all departments of the organization from purchasing & receiving to sales and finance & HR. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with leadership, to ensure KPIs and metrics are met and all locations strive for continuous improvement. You should be compliance-focused, while also creating a customer-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to continue the refinement and execution of standard operating procedures, while also developing new SOPs to ensure continued compliance with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) laws and rules. If you are a results-driven, inspiring, retail management leader with experience leading a fast-paced retail environment, have a passion for cannabis, and excel at motivating, coaching, training, and mentoring staff; then this could be the right position for you!

You should have 5+ years of experience building retail teams focused on continuous improvement as either a general manager, executive director, or C-level leader of a bricks and mortar retail establishment. Some of this experience ideally is in the cannabis industry. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are accustomed to wearing multiple hats when necessary, which allow you to not only oversee departments but also to roll up your sleeves and do day-to-day work in finance, marketing, HR, supply chain management, etc. You have a bachelor's degree or MBA (ideally) in business administration. You understand that this position could entail up to 100% travel throughout the Puget Sound area and will include working nights, weekends, and some holidays. You are known for using your exceptional communication and public speaking skills, along with your ability to motivate and inspire teams of more than 50 people. Pay Range : $110K-$130K / Annually
