Law firm looking for an E-Discovery manager with 10+ years of experience. Looking for an expert in e-discovery. Firm represents Plaintiffs and public entities and is HIGH-VOLUME. This
his position will :
Represent the firm on a national level for committees and eDiscovery case leadership
Monitor and adjust staffing for cases, both with internal eDiscovery team
Upon request, advise other offices and executive management regarding eDiscovery matters
Create eDiscovery standards and practices with the group and share with other offices and co-counsel, upon request
Meet with clients upon starting a case to present eDiscovery processes and procedures to client case leaders and staffing to ensure compliance with legal holds and identification, preservation, and collection of all data for the case
Primary contact for clients, Defendants and co-counsel to troubleshoot eDiscovery issues not easily managed by team
Primary lead to ensure all eDiscovery deadlines and expectations are accomplished by coordinating with lead counsel, IT Litigation Support and eDiscovery team.
Required Experience :
Experience negotiating ESI protocols with defendants
Experience assisting in database design, collecting documents from clients, and managing review and production of discovery.
Experience using various forms of technology assisted review and advising the litigation team on strategies with respect to review of documents received from the opposing side and how to manage production of client documents.
Nice to have Experience : (not a dealbreaker)
Class action lawsuit opioid cases.
Requirements :
Ability to travel within the United States for 25 - 30% of the year.
Salary :
154k - 177k (Based on years of experience)
Bonus : Year-end based on profitability of team.
Qualifications
License in good standing to practice law in the US and US territories.
