About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Financial Services Resilience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maturing and leading the resilience practice's financial services industry offerings, driving new business, and leading client engagements. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial services, operational risk management, business continuity, and crisis management. The Managing Director will be expected to have a deep understanding of resilience and industry-specific regulatory requirements, and experience in successfully building new business and leading engagements within the professional services industry. A key aspect of the role is to cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key client decision-makers, identify revenue growth opportunities, and ensure the delivery of high-impact, innovative solutions to clients.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a major in business administration or risk management, and an MBA is also preferred. A minimum of 15 years of consulting experience in the relevant fields is required, along with professional certifications such as DRII, BCI, and / or Series 7. The role demands an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills. The Managing Director will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team, so strong leadership and management abilities are essential. The position involves a significant amount of travel and requires a candidate who is adept at using various software and has a strong understanding of consulting methodology and risk management tools.
