Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano. TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for developing automated and manual test scripts to support full regression testing and new functionality tests on reports and Web-based UIs, validating and ensuring that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC
• Work with developers and other testers to design and execute test scripts using industry standard testing strategy / plans to identify defects before release to production
• Test development focus is on automated testing / regression testing but may also be manual test work
• May also include Production Certification which requires manual / automated scripts be executed to certify production health and / or identify post-production defects
• Work as a member of the Agile Development team to ensure standard quality practices / processes are followed
• Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to create manual and automated test scripts and test plans
• Develop, update, and execute manual and automated test scripts in coordination with developers and other testers
• Support other testers in ensuring that automated scripts are functional and running as expected for regression testing
• Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate and demonstrate results with stakeholders
• Collaborate with development and cross functional teams to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
