Job Summary

We are seeking a Fiber Technician to join our team, we have job sites from Pompano Beach to Miami and surrounding areas, must be willing to travel.

In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, replacing/splicing existing fiber optics on customer property, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks.

The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
• Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople
• 
  
  • Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
  • Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
  • Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility
  • Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures
  • Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
  • Repair or replace fiber optics cable on selected job sites

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods

• Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred

• Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
