The candidate's primary responsibility will be execution of reliability testing using established procedures and techniques. Broader responsibilities include :
Perform the set-up, running a wide variety of reliability environmental, mechanical and chemical testing, HALT / HASA testing, chambers operation and electrical tests per reliability engineer requirements, maintenance / basic calibration of test equipment and environmental chambers, develop reliability stress hardware specifications and procedures, write test programs for reliability testing and characterization, and assist in selection of new reliability lab equipmen
Assist Reliability engineer in performing electronic products electrical verification testing
Summarize the test data and perform data analysis in accordance to product design requirements
Prepare test reports and communicate results and findings to Reliability engineer to facilitate root cause analysis and resolution when failure occurs
Support team in performing other Electro-Mechanical testing and measurements per product design requirements.
Set up test equipment for functional tests for PCBA and system levels, including product cabling, instrumented thermal and mechanical characterizations such as thermal couples, accelerometers, strain gages, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
Monitor product on test (understands test suites), and test equipment for faults and diagnoses and correct equipment issues.
Maintain test data files, and databases and reports test status and non-conformances to engineering teams.
Complete data trend and variation analysis and create engineering reports.
Contribute to lab continuous improvement efforts, with participation in development of operating procedures, test methods, and error-proofing.
Perform basic soldering, wiring, fixture setup and product labeling to track DUTs
