Job descriptionEnsure production schedules are met safely and efficiently Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and staffing levels Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams Enforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications Conduct safety talks and participate in incident investigations Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency Participate in process improvement and root cause analysis Track production metrics (output, downtime, scrap, attendance) Complete shift reports and production documentation Communicate shift handovers clearly and effectively High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred 2–5 years of manufacturing experience required 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience required Experience with lean manufacturing preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This role acts as the first line of leadership on the production floor, supporting continuous improvement and maintaining efficient manufacturing operations.
