A Day in the Life

The job is for an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the Final Device/Battery Prep/New3 lines. The schedule and hours for this position is Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 5:30am-5:30pm.

We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide hands-on technical support for equipment maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

  • Must have demonstrated maintenance experience with wafer fab, lasers, grinding, material handling, and/or surface mount process equipment.

  • , and written descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Some descriptions may be verbal.

  • Run projects, including performing complex tests, interpreting data, developing key reports and providing updates to the broader team.

  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.

  • Look for and make improvements to optimize work processes.

  • Meet operational attainment of Safety, Quality, and Service goals.

  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.

  • Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.

  • Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

  • Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.

  • Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.

  • May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.

  • May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$65,600.00 - $98,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance,Health Savings Account,Healthcare Flexible Spending Account,Life insurance, Long-term disability leave,Dependent daycare spending account,Tuition assistance/reimbursement, andSimple Steps (global well-being program).
