Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join the team. In this role, you will manage the production department which includes the manufacturing and packaging of all Ion exchange products.
Responsibilities and Authority :
- Ensures safety as a value
- Ensures that the production plant is operating under the best economic conditions and conforming to statutory and company requirements
- Implements TPM (Total Productive Maintenance / Management) in production premises with particular emphasis on 5S, Autonomous Maintenance and loss elimination
- Prepares annual budget of the production department
- Prepares the standard cost for each product, update costs on an annual basis
- Monitors and records production usages providing a monthly report against budget
- Monitors polymer production and utilization of polymer under most cost-effective manner
- Ensures all products are manufactured in accordance with standard costs, quality specifications and packaged to meet sales demand
- Ensures production orders are manufactured in a timely manner adherent to schedule to attend Planned Shipping Dates agreed with customers
- Collaborates with research and development, and engineering departments on new developments
- Recruits, trains and evaluates manpower and take the necessary action to develop a motivated team while maintaining good industrial relations
- Prepares monthly production schedule to meet sales demand
- Assists senior management in developing a strategic plan for future development of the company and the group as a whole
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements :
Knowledge of cost accounting and man management. Must have knowledge of the various statutory requirements relative to the chemical industry. Computer literate with advanced writing skills. Has the ability to initiate tasks and work in an independent manner. Must be able to communicate with visitors, professional and plant personnel.

Interfaces with other department personnel in the corporate office, administration and plant locations as necessary. Requires good communication, interpersonal skills and interacts well with external customers, visitors, employees and management in other departments
Working Conditions :
Position operates in an environment in which there may be temperature extremes and exposure to weather, excessive noise and vibrations, moving mechanical parts, electric shock, hazardous chemicals, gases, odors, hot liquids or equipment. May work in high, low or confined spaces.
Physical requirements :
Position requires lifting / pushing / carrying up to 50 pounds chest high.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
