Overview : AngioSafe is a Bay Area medical device start-up focusing on improving healthcare delivery through state-of-the-art catheter development. Our seasoned experts are committed to producing high quality and innovative products to decrease risk and improve outcomes of arterial disease.
The person in this role will perform assembly of a variety of medical products, as well as support the production to keep the line running smoothly.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform assembly of medical devices as assigned. Perform all aspects of assembly learned through on-the-job training from lead, engineers, or reading procedures.
- Understand and follow all AngioSafe and GMP procedures required to assemble product to specification.
- Precisely complete and be accountable for Manufacturing documentation per GDP requirements.
- Communicate with team members to problem solve and resolve issues.
- Perform special assignments and other duties as required. Assist co-workers with problem solving.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Must comply with all regulatory requirements and ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
- Assist R / D and Test Engineering teams as necessary.
- Maintain great quality build for the product and 5S at all times.
- For tasks involving assembly and inspection, good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are necessary. A significant portion of work will be with small parts under a microscope.
- A strong safety-conscious attitude and adherence to health and safety regulations are crucial.

Pay range for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g. qualifications, education, prior experience) : $24 - $38 an hour
