Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Shipfitter for projects located in San Diego, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $27-41 / hour based on experience plus $120-150 / Per Diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Marine Shipfitter eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope :
- Assemble, cut and grind metal structural parts including; plates, bulkheads, strong backs, turnbuckles and come-along
- Align parts in relation to each other
- Tack and weld foundation and structural members
- Perform layout work according to blueprints or reference lines
- Mark location of holes to be drilled
- Drive wedges and install temporary fasteners to hold part in place for welding
- Perform other related tasks assigned
