Job descriptionInstall, maintain and repair a variety of electrical equipment and controls including lighting systems, branch circuitry, power distribution and control circuitry. Install electrical services for new equipment including computer labs, recirculation desks, kitchen equipment, copiers, printers, A / C units, kilns, classroom relocations. Troubleshoot, maintain and service fire alarm systems for the safety of students and personnel. Maintain and service intercom systems, kitchen equipment, and security systems. Inspect and test various electrical systems for proper functioning. Revamp electrical systems for remodels and renovations. Support schools with electrical needs for other activities such as fund raising events, PTA events, and Kid Zone. Maintain records on time, labor and materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common to the electrical trade Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and regulations Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical systems and components Skill in the care and use of hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repair tasks Skill in both verbal and written communication Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Ability to use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical circuits, systems and equipment; perform duties in collaboration with other trades areas as required in order to maintain District facilities. Troubleshoot and maintain fire alarm, intercom, and security systems.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education and / or experience equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) years of experience as a skilled electrician; commercial experience preferred
- Ability to obtain State of Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
