Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum 7+ years of experience managing design and construction projects, including oversight of multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale capital programs, project portfolios, or regional construction initiatives. Strong knowledge of construction project delivery, building systems, construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Experience developing and managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive-level stakeholders. Strong financial acumen with experience managing capital budgets, forecasting, and cost controls. Exceptional communication, organizational, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Remote-based position with regular travel throughout MN, ND, IA, and NE. Travel requirements will vary based on project needs, portfolio demands, and stakeholder engagement. Typical travel includes project site visits, leadership meetings, and project governance reviews. Up to 25% travel may be required.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Healthcare, hospital, or other highly regulated facility construction experience. Experience serving as an Owners Representative for capital construction projects. Experience leading geographically dispersed project teams. Familiarity with occupied healthcare facility renovations, infrastructure upgrades, imaging projects, and facility modernization initiatives. Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, CHC, PE, AIA, or similar credentials. Experience managing portfolios exceeding $100M annually.
The Market Manager, Real Estate Project Delivery provides strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of capital design and construction projects across the Midwest Market: Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota. This senior leadership role serves as the owners representative and is responsible for driving successful project delivery while leading a team of 2-4 Project Managers and supporting the execution of regional capital programs.
