About the Role
The Company is seeking a Market President to join their team. This role is pivotal in leading and growing a talented team, with a primary focus on originating retail and commercial loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase loan origination and deposits within the assigned market, overseeing the performance of loan officers and other staff, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and referral partners. Staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, is essential.
Applicants for the Market President position must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in originating retail and commercial loans within a banking setting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. The role also requires in-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations. The Market President will be expected to represent the company in various community and industry events, conduct market analysis, and work closely with credit and underwriting teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of loans.
