Key Responsibilities and Requirements :

Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences in the mobile, home entertainment, and digital appliances segments.
Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and internal databases, to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence at Samsung to align analytical objectives with the subsidiary's Mystery Shop Data needs.
Utilize in-house tools, Tableau, and techniques, with a focus on Excel, to organize and interpret complex data sets.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and retail execution sales teams, to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay informed of market trends and emerging threats or opportunities.
Assist in the development of competitive intelligence strategies and frameworks to enhance the company's competitive position.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.

Proven expertise in Excel, data analysis, and visualization techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Experience in the consumer electronics industry or related sectors is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations.

Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects, and read and interpret detailed and complex customer requirements.

Team player who goes out of their way to help teammates, support the business, and collaborate with other professionals.
