Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship The College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Marketing Department, beginning September 1, 2026. Qualifications Applicants must have completed, or be in the final stages of completing, a doctoral degree in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a closely related field by the date of appointment. ABD candidates who will complete their doctorate by August 31, 2026, will be considered. Responsibilities
- Teaching : Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in new product development including AI products and services, marketing, and entrepreneurship, across both on-campus and online modalities. The ideal candidate will be eager to engage in experiential learning, with interests in developing and nurturing entrepreneurial student startups.
- Research : Develop and maintain a strong research agenda with the potential for publication in leading peer-reviewed journals in innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, or related fields.
- Service : Contribute to the College, University, profession, and community through service roles such as mentoring students, collaborating across disciplines, and serving on committees for enrollment, recruiting, and program development.
- Professional Engagement : Show a clear trajectory of ongoing scholarly productivity, participation in conferences, peer-review activities, and broader contributions to the academic community.

About the Organization The College of Management is AACSB-accredited and is the only public Business School in Boston.
