JOB SUMMARY
PODS is looking for a Brand Communications Specialist with a proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel organic social media content and influencer partnerships to drive brand awareness and elevate consumers' perception of our brand as a thought leader and authority in the moving and storage space. In addition, this individual must be a natural collaborator. They will work closely with internal groups to identify and share engaging social media content about our customers, associates, company, products / services, partners, and industry.
This role is required to be on-site Monday through Thursday at PODS' Corporate Center in Clearwater, FL. Friday is an optional remote day. In-office presence is important for cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment. When people are together in the same space, they are more likely to build relationships, share ideas, and solve problems together.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive efficiencies and improve processes through the ownership of all aspects of the brand's organic social media presence, including but not limited to strategy development, content creation (both copywriting and graphic design / production), scheduling / publishing content (including hashtags and tagging), community management, and reporting
- Monitor for user-generated content (UGC) across all relevant platforms and engage with content creators to gain permission / access to utilize third-party assets
- Own the social media influencer partnership program, including but not limited to strategy development, influencer sourcing, onboarding, relationship management, content review, and performance reporting to drive brand growth and engagement
- Conduct ongoing social listening to monitor brand sentiment, identify trends, and gather insights, enabling proactive engagement and strategy adjustments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports by locating and compiling relevant data
- Coordinate directly with subject matter experts to maintain knowledge of products / services required to successfully raise brand awareness, increase engagements, and boost sessions across organic social channels
- Perform maintenance as needed on social media accounts (e.g., updating cover / header photos, profile photos, descriptions, products / services)
- May assist with paid social media efforts as needed, including determining organic content to boost
- Responsible for asset management, including storage, file naming, and talent usage rights
- Own internal e-commerce site of branded promotional products and apparel, including but not limited to user account management, inventory, and reporting
- Evaluating data of previous orders and considering emerging trends, recommend innovative promo items and apparel to add to the internal digital store, including reviewing samples and proofs
- Assist with managing branded promotional products and apparel on an employee recognition platform
- May oversee advertising or creative agency, internal and external copy and design teams in support of content development
- Coordinate employee engagement / community involvement opportunities as needed
- Perform general administrative duties, such as invoice management and scheduling meetings, as needed
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
