Job description

Part-Time Financial Advising Marketing Intern

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a highly motivated and driven college candidate to be a Part-Time Financial Advising Marketing Intern to join our dynamic financial advising firm. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial services, digital marketing, and client communications. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in financial concepts, technical writing skills, and an understanding of digital marketing strategies. Knowledge of graphic design is also desirable. This internship will work approximately 17 hours per week. If you are eager to gain experience in both the financial and digital marketing sectors and have a passion for learning and growth, then please proceed by clicking apply.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in drafting and editing documents, client communications, and marketing materials
  • Contribute to the creation and optimization of digital marketing content across various platforms (website, social media, email campaigns)
  • Support the development of marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and client engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns focused on attracting potential clients
  • Help maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to client feedback and campaign performance

Qualifications:

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Completion of relevant coursework in finance, economics, or marketing is desirable
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, social media marketing, and email campaigns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
