Desi Fresh Foods is a leading "cultured" dairy manufacturer with over 23 years of experience. We produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies / yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service side. We are currently seeking a skilled Marketing Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick Country, Virginia!
About the Role
Desi Fresh Foods is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to drive the execution of marketing initiatives, product launches, and cross-functional projects. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader who can manage workflows, align cross-functional teams, and optimize marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a strong ability to execute marketing strategies while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Management :
Oversee marketing initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Manage NPD (New Product Development) timelines and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution.
Coordinate Expo & Trade Show event timelines and logistics to maximize brand exposure.
Utilize Asana to track projects, manage change processes, and ensure transparency across teams.
Lead Stage Gate Process Management, ensuring structured decision-making for product development.
Oversee marketing tactics and deliverables across teams, ensuring strategic alignment.
Retail & Trade Marketing :
Partner with sales teams and retail partners to enhance product visibility, in-store activation, and shopper engagement.
Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring promotional spend efficiency and ROI optimization.
Lead development of marketing collateral, POS materials, and digital assets for retail execution.
Sales Operations & Administration :
Manage customer setup and new item setup, ensuring all documentation is completed.
Create New Item Sell-in slides to support sales presentations and customer meetings.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for retailers and distributors.
Ship products and materials from the Winchester facility, including samples, POS materials, and distributor shipments.
Coordinate and execute events, handling logistics, booth setup, and on-site support.
Manage ad hoc events and shipment requests, including sending out samples, POS materials, and distributor shipments as needed.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management :
Act as the primary liaison for agencies, vendors, and external partners.
Ensure marketing initiatives comply with legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines.
Work closely with leadership to align marketing strategies with business growth objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA optional).
5+ years of experience in marketing project management within the CPG, food & beverage, or retail industry.
Strong project management skills with experience managing NPD timelines, marketing deliverables, and trade show execution.
Proficiency with Asana, Stage Gate Process Management, and change management tools.
Strong attention to detail, leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and external partners to deliverables and timelines.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Problem solving ability to manage various stakeholders, timelines and resources
Experience with trade marketing, shopper marketing, and promotional strategy is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
This role has a pay range of $80,000-$100,000 annually. The pay range provided is an estimated base pay range for this role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and location.
