Description
YOUR PURPOSE
The Marketing Communications Manager at Horizon Credit Union leads a dynamic creative services team to deliver impactful marketing and member communications. This role is critical in shaping and maintaining the credit union's visual identity, ensuring consistent messaging and creative excellence across all channels. As a strategic part of the Marketing Department, the Marketing Communications Manager oversees the development and execution of visual content that drives member engagement, enhances brand visibility, and supports Horizon Credit Union's marketing efforts to effectively communicate our products, services, and community impact. The manager also focuses on building workflow and efficient processes that ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative assets, while actively coaching and developing staff to enhance skills, foster growth and maintain a high level of team performance.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Project Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of visual communication and marketing projects that support Horizon Credit Union's strategic goals.
- Utilize project management software to streamline workflows, assign tasks, track progress, and manage timelines and resources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality creative projects aligned with brand standards.
- Analyze performance data to refine visual content and marketing strategies for improved member engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with digital marketing, community engagement and other stakeholder teams to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all channels.

Our pay values are reflected in our compensation philosophy which rewards individual performance and the potential to contribute to our teams' overall success long-term.
The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $81,034-$125,603. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's experience, education, and skill level.

EXPERTISE YOU NEED
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or a closely related field. More than 5 years of experience in marketing or a closely related field. Credit union or financial services experience highly preferred but not required. May consider an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

To perform the essential functions of this position an employee must be able to meet the following workplace demands : the ability to converse with others, detect sound, identify, and detect objects, count, read, write, operate a computer, handle, and feel objects, reach with hands / arms and be stationary and / or stand and / or move for long periods of time. Occasionally an employee will lift / pull / push and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and be able to maintain balance doing these activities.
