Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Shore Acres Care Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of our rehab team, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and live their lives to the fullest.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention
Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care
Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success
Occupational Therapist Job Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Florida Occupational Therapy License
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be computer/tech savvy
