Pratt & Whitney Jacksonville Nas Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Master Scheduler
The Pratt & Whitney Jacksonville Nas Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Master Scheduler will provide daily planning and guidance to the FRCSE value stream consistent with the established schedule to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of production delivery schedule.
Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support APC/Ops in implementing plans to support the objectives of the business/partnership, including production, planning, scheduling, allocating resources, quality, and CORE
- Provide daily short/long term planning of engines and modules
- Utilize SAP, program databases, and Microsoft office tools to plan inductions and control shop work-in-process (WIP) levels
- Monitor gated metrics and communicate impacts to the schedule
- Update production status boards and slides to reflect current status
- Facilitate communication between operations, materials, and quality at the shop-floor level to ensure priorities are clear
- Participate in daily production meetings as required to communicate schedule requirements
- Actively participate in continuous improvement system
- Develop and utilize robust standard work and desktop procedures for FRCSE scheduling processes
- Perform any related functions to support other MRO production lines as required by management to ensure the success of the enterprise
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 5 years of experience OR Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 3 years of experience
General: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work 1st shift (0600-1500), as well as extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks; may be called in off-hours to answer job-related questions Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices Ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision U.S. citizen
Job-specific: Proficiency with Microsoft Project
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
General: Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP Operational experience in an MRO engine facility Process or manufacturing experience on gas-turbine engines
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
