Job Description
The Research Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the research participant pool; supporting the Research Committee; executing the procedures for the Ethics Review Committee; supervising the use of research space in shared research suites; overseeing and maintaining computer laboratories, AV equipment, tests and measures files; updating and compiling Research Methods Handbooks; providing logistical support for research methods courses; supervising and training student employees; and providing logistical and technical support in the use of online platforms for recruiting, scheduling, and testing participants.
Primary Responsibility :
- Oversee the departmental research participant pool, including presentation visits to classes to orient students for participation
- Support the use of software for research design and analysis, and platforms for administering and participating in studies run remotely
- Facilitate the work of the Research Committee and the Ethics Review Committee
- Oversee and maintain computer laboratories, AV equipment, tests and measures files, and research methods handbook
- Supervise the use of research space in compliance with departmental rules and health and safety protocols

Additional Details : This full-time, 43 week fixed-term academic assignment, from mid-August to mid-June, with the possibility of a second-year extension based on performance. This position is also eligible for benefits.
