Job Summary: The Large Part Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement, handling, and staging of oversized or heavy components within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This role ensures materials are transported efficiently while maintaining safety, organization, and product integrity. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Move large and heavy parts using forklifts, cranes, hoists, or other material handling equipmentLoad, unload, and transport materials between workstations, storage areas, and production linesSafely rig and secure oversized components for lifting and transportInspect materials for damage and verify part numbers and documentationStage materials for production according to schedules and prioritiesFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and lifting techniquesKeep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazardsCommunicate with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure workflow efficiency Required Skills/Abilities: Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other lifting equipment preferredKnowledge of rigging and safe material handling practicesAbility to read work orders, part numbers, and basic documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math skills for counting, measuring, and inventory trackingAbility to work independently and as part of a team. Education and Experience: Associate degree or above in related field preferred.Prior related experience preferred.
