Job descriptionMaterial allocation including taking inventory from a receiver and kit the product into Kanban quantities for the cell. Places inventory into correct locations within the cell and will collaborate with team members to determine the right location and presentation of parts. Follow Kanban Card processing process by pulling, logging and scanning the parts card for replenishment. Collaborate with cell employees, buyers and inventory controller to resolve any inventory discrepancies / issues within the cell. Initiate requests for inventory adjustments, fabricated work orders (WO) or purchase orders (PO), if needed, to ensure accuracy and availability of parts. Review status of aged inventory with no movement. Identify, investigate and dispose aged non-Kanban.
Qualifications :
- Must Have HS Diploma or GED
- Excellent attendance record
- Willingness and ability to work overtime hours
- Previous lean manufacturing work experience desired
- Manual dexterity and lifting 20-35 pounds may be required
- Experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to deal with personnel at all organizational levels
- Experience with Excel and Oracle
- Ability to problem solve and analyze data
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities
- Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Bending body downward and forward at the waist.
- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- 4PM – 12 : 30AM (Training on A shift for 2-3 months)
Pay : $19-20 an hour ( $3 Shift Differential)
