Materials engineer Jobs in Hialeah, FL

Materials Coordinator manages inventory, supplies, and deliveries for the Operating Room and PACU / Pre op departments. They work to ensure that materials are available when needed and that shipments are accurate and timely. Must also have experience as a Surgical Tech.

Responsibilities include :

• Inventory : Manage inventory, including cycle counts and physical inventory processes
• Ordering : Order supplies and negotiates individual surgical case cost with suppliers for administrator approval
• Deliveries : Schedule on time deliveries
• Storage : Coordinate the storage of materials
• Maintain a system for personnel to check for the availability of supplies and the status of orders
• Vendor Relations : Work with vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain
• Safety : Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies

Additional skills :

Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technologist experience required
