Summary :
Goldbelt CP Marine is seeking a Trainer / Materials Developer to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- The designer / drafter works under the supervision of a senior designer / drafter.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and handouts, tailored to different learning styles and audiences.
- Design and implement training programs and workshops on various topics, ensuring they align with organizational goals and address specific training needs.
- Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtual, using a variety of instructional techniques to engage participants and promote effective learning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information, validate content, and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data to identify gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback from participants, analyzing performance metrics, and making recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain and update training materials to reflect changes in policies, procedures, or industry standards.
- Develop and manage training schedules, coordinating logistics and resources for training events.
- Provide support and coaching to participants during and after training to reinforce learning and address any questions or issues.
- Perform other duties as needed.
