Job Purpose
Responsible for coordinating the scheduling and purchasing functions to maximize machine utilization and efficiency. Maintain excellent customer relations, and control shipments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Maintain production schedules on a daily basis to meet Customer demand.
- Monitor inventory turns and ensures that the FIFO methods are being followed.
- Review the MRP daily for changes.
- Coordinate inventory to meet production schedule, while maintaining levels at or below Facility plan.
- Ensure the customer demand requirements are maintained and any issues are communicated to the customer ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Coordinate and record all expedite shipments to the customer ensuring customer specific logistics are utilized.
- Meet with Production daily to review and put plans in place to avoid potential problems.
- Review dunnage requirements daily ensuring the correct amount and type is available for use by manufacturing.
- Perform supplier visits as required.
