Job Summary :

The Baking and Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and pastries with a focus on quality, presentation, and taste. This role requires a strong understanding of baking techniques, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment. An exceptional Baking and Pastry Cook will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products that align with our standards.

Duties and responsibilities include :

• Prepare and Bake : Create a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ingredient Management : Maintain organized, stocked workstations, managing inventory and practicing proper food rotation.
• Quality Control : Inspect products for taste, texture, and presentation; adapt recipes for special requests or seasonal ingredients.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate timing and ensure baked items are ready for service.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Safety : Keep baking areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized, adhering to food safety guidelines.
