About Miami Job Corps Center
The Miami Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas : Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to support the next generation? If yes, we would like to extend an invitation to you to join our team as an Academic Instructor at the Miami Job Corps Center. As an Academic Instructor, your responsibilities would include providing training to students in the Career Education Center. You will work on developing individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure that students succeed in the program. Collaborating with CTT Instructors, you will integrate applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success. It is imperative that you maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information and ensure the integrity of student data at all times.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of our students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to students who may require additional support.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and motivational atmosphere that inspires students to reach their full potential.
