May Include :

Perform preventative maintenance duties and requisitions new parts and equipment.

Respond to breakdowns in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist with all aspects of new equipment installation.
• Evaluate, maintain and modify all equipment to ensure or improve production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals.
• Ensure equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements. Ensuring the timely production and packaging of goods in a facility.
• Inspect the machinery to ascertain the proper functionality of the same.
• Conduct regular repair, service and maintenance activities on the manufacturing machinery.
• Appropriately handle repair and testing tools and other equipments.
• Comply with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while carrying out all work processes.
• Ensures all equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements
• Report damages and other malfunctions to the supervising authority.
• Obtain feedback from the production department regarding the functioning of the machinery.
• 2 years minimum experience
• Industrial maintenance
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systemsDC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, limit switches and electric motors
• High school diploma or GED Equivalent
• Crane repair training a plus
• Welding machine repair training is a plus
• Forklift repair training is a plus
