Acara Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join our client, a growing manufacturer in Buffalo, NY! Type : Direct Hire with benefits Hourly rate : up to 32.00 / HR, depending on experience Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM with hybrid flexibility on Tuesday and ThursdayKey Responsibilities : -Independently or collaboratively create detailed design and fabrication drawings to meet project and company requirements.-Coordinate with both internal teams and external partners throughout drafting and manufacturing phases.-Conduct preliminary checks of designs to ensure compliance before seeking Project Engineer approval.-Work closely with the Senior Mechanical Designer to address issues at any project stage.-Perform extensive 2D detailing for individual parts and assemblies, ensuring proper arrangement, views, and sections to facilitate fabrication.-Apply precise dimensioning and tolerancing for complex part details.-Verify completed drawings meet input requirements before final engineering submission.-Update and revise drawings, assembly details, and specifications as needed.-Engage in other engineering activities related to project needs.Required Skills / Qualifications : Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College, analogous work experience considered.Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
