Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Proven 5+ years of experience in HVAC systems, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical engineering integration. EPA Universal Certification required Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams and overseeing complex projects. Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools for design and layout of HVAC systems. Knowledge of industry standards for hazardous locations (NFPA 496) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications such as NATE Certification (North American Technician Excellence), HVAC Excellence Certification, or R-410A Certification are a plus! Experience developing and creating quotes and estimates during the bidding process for industrial or commercial related projects. Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled General / Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a leadership role, driving the design, estimation, and integration of large-scale HVAC systems, and contributing to the continued success and innovation of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, sizing, and quoting processes for complex HVAC systems, including blower and fan selection, and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design and ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
- Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Review and interpret project specifications to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide hands-on leadership during the fabrication process to ensure project quality and accuracy.
