Job Description
As Mechanical Engineer (CAD Design & Testing) on the Engineering team, you will :
- Utilize 3D CAD software to design and create detailed models, drawings, and assemblies of mechanical components and systems.
- Generate new product concepts that meet project timing goals of technical demonstrations.
- Work with cross-functional, international teams to define product requirements and technical specifications.
- Use rapid prototyping, shop tools, and hand tools to fabricate and build product prototypes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure the quality of the overall product, components, and parts. Conduct audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
- Travel to Manufacturing facilities and client sites : up to 40%
Qualifications
Qualifications we're looking for.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
