Job descriptionRecruiter Notice : We respectfully ask external recruiters and staffing agencies to refrain from submitting candidates for this position. We only accept direct applications from individuals. This role is based out of Bloomington, CA but requires frequent travel throughout Southern California. Per diem is provided and hotel paid for by company when traveling overnight. Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, valves, and mechanical equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform layout and fabrication of piping systems using various materials (copper, steel, PVC, etc.). Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on job sites. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed. High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid driver's license and willingness to commute to various worksites in the area 3+ years of experience in mechanical or pipefitting roles (retrofit experience preferred) Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and specifications Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed Strong proficiency HVAC systems, chilled water, steam, and hydronic piping Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations Competitive wages Comprehensive Benefits Per diem provided by and hotel covered when traveling overnight
