Position's Contributions to Work Group :

As a Battery Systems Development Engineer you will work with a team of engineers and be accountable to create and execution of battery module and system level validation plans. This would include tasks such as reviewing battery system standards (examples ISO, IEC, UL), creating pretest planning documentation, executing test processes, and reviewing test data for acceptance. The successful candidate will serve as an experienced contributor on assignments that are complex in nature, working with teams across the US.

Typical task breakdown :

• Support in the review of customer application requirements and apply those details toward validation success criteria
• Support validation and development documentation process by working with design teams to :
• Create Boundary Diagrams
• Creation & Maintain Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Develop and execute Design Verification Test Plan
• Test Setup & Coordination with internal and external test facilities
• Test Data Review
• NPI Issue creation and support design improvements based upon learning found in testing.
• Provide documentation of validation to support compliance needs to customer or regional standards (TANs / Functional Safety / etc.)

Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is : $42.00 - $43.00 / hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
