What you'll get to do as a Mechanical Engineer at Senspex :

  • Develop innovative electromechanical solutions to complex challenges that ultimately result in hardware builds
  • Utilize CAD and other engineering software to design electromechanical systems
  • Collaborate with other electrical and system engineers to achieve system design integration
  • Perform tests, issue results and written reports to ensure tests meet hardware design specifications
  • Analyze and resolve design compatibility issues
  • Identify, implement and manage engineering changes for product improvement
  • Provide support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades, and enhancements
  • The qualifications we require :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering plus ten (10) years of experience in component or subsystem designs that includes electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical design practices; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%, domestic and international
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CAD tools and modeling
  • Demonstrated experience in prototype development, including solid modeling, drafting, vendor management, testing, and integration

    Other requirements :

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
  • National security clearance : This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects / programs
  • Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test
