We are a growing engineering and manufacturing company searching for an Engineering Manager with strong Mechanical or Chemical Processing experience. You will be responsible for the organization’s Engineering function, accountable for the technical integrity and compliance with the contract specifications within established schedule, budget and customer’s expectations.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager that can lead a motivate team of ten Engineers, hands-on with strong engineering skills and can interact with both customers and internal management teams.
What you will be doing as our Engineering Manager :
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all technical aspects of a project through regular communication with Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Production and Field Service departments to ensure compliance with technical requirements of the contract within schedule and budget
- Develop and lead an engineering team through setting clear performance expectations, coaching, mentoring, and cross-training.
- Develop departmental and individual “key deliverables” and establish, monitor and report on key performance indicators.
- Lead the development & implementation of engineering best practices, processes and tools fully integrated with the company's QMS and ERP systems.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and budget including Mechanical / Structural design, equipment configuration, engineering calculations, selection of components, O&M Manuals and approvals of technical submittals in compliance with contract specifications and company’s established policies and procedures
