Job descriptionCurrently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering Minimum GPA of 3.0 Must have completed at least one course in thermodynamics or fluid dynamics. Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCad preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Identify / Execute projects to enhance facilities system safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Perform deep dives of critical facilities systems to identify system optimization.
- Troubleshoot System Faults and Resolving Interruptions
- Update / Optimize the Facilities Tool Utility Matrix
- Update Building and Facilities Equipment documentation :
- As-built drawings
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Sequence of Operations (SOOs)
- System Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Preventative Maintenance plans (PMs)
- Capacity vs Demand Analysis
- Support process equipment installation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fab engineering, EHS, and energy.
Qualifications :
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience : $31 / hr - $42 / hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
