Job Description

A medical office is seeking a Medical Assistant to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist patients to exam rooms and obtain complete and accurate vital signs
• Obtain and document all pertinent information in patients charts using EHR system prior to examination
• Anticipate and assist in minor surgical procedures
• Maintain timely patient flow, room availability, patient safety, and confidentiality
• Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms, and participate in clinic duties; clean and sterilize instruments and ordering supplies
• Maintain and monitor all equipment used for patient care and testing and report any discrepancy to supervisor
• Ensure appropriate handling and accurate documentation of all medications ordered by the provider
• Timely follow through with all referrals generated
