OverviewWant to use your skills and certification to care for patients and clients? Thinking of furthering your education in a nursing role? This part-time position in Madison, IL, offers all this and more. Work daytime hours (7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 30 p.m.) on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Chestnut offers educational assistance for employees earning qualifying degrees in nursing (restrictions apply.) ResponsibilitiesProvide consumer-driven services identified in treatment / recovery / safety plan, primarily community support, case management, and medication training and monitoring. Provide services in the location most conducive to the consumer’s level of change, including his / her apartment, or a community location. Interview consumers, noting / entering any changes in their health history and pharmacy information. Ensure an accurate list of all medications. Complete and record vital signs. Perform point of care testing. Educate consumers and family / friends on proper medication usage, side-effects, desired effects, storage, and self-administration. Collaborate with nursing and utilize ECW and Tier.QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Current CMA or CNA certification. Prefer work experience in an outpatient, mental health, or substance use setting. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Friendly, customer-service demeanor. Computer experience including Microsoft Office and an electronic medical record. Ability to assist in a variety of common office procedures.
